Created in LA kicks off Thursday, September 17 at the historic El Capitan Theatre. We’re rolling out the red carpet for creators. For the first time in the El Capitan’s 100-year history, we’ll premiere videos from the biggest creators on the big screen.
Open bar and cocktail reception included.
On Friday, September 18, join us for a day of keynotes and workshops at The Walt Disney Studios Lot. We’ll unpack the future of storytelling, media, and the businesses behind it. Every speaker session is thoughtfully crafted, and each attendee is hand-selected so you make meaningful connections.

These days, there are more creator events than ever. But here’s why Created in LA is unlike any you’ve been to.
Disney is opening its doors like never before, and their teams want to meet you. See where the magic happened and walk where Walt did.
Every attendee is hand-selected. In a room of 350, everyone’s worth meeting. Your next collaborator, business partner, or lifelong friend is already here.
Our sessions are highly curated, in-depth, and detailed. They feature top creators and voices across the industry. Stay tuned for the speaker lineup.
From the open bar and reception at the El Capitan Theatre to the full-service barista and food at The Walt Disney Studio Lot, we got you. Just bring your appetite.
Everyone is together. No “premium tier” track. No wondering what you missed on another stage. One stage. One track.
At age 18, Walt created his first cartoons as a commercial artist. Like many creators today, he started with a dream and story to tell.
Walt debuted his studio’s first animated feature film: Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. Critics doubted him…but it became the highest earning film in history.
The Walt Disney Studios opens in Burbank, which remains its company’s headquarters to this day — and you’ll see at Created in LA.
The Walt Disney Company remodeled the El Capitan Theatre to premiere the studio’s biggest films. At Created in LA, it’ll be the first time we premiere videos from creators, too.
Created in LA brings the next generation of creators to the studio that Walt built.
Disney doesn’t usually open its doors like this.
Beyond the Disney Burbank Studio lot and El Capitan theatre, you’ll also get a private tour of Walt’s personal office, filled with his original drawings.
See where the magic happened. Literally.
One of the few to work at both YouTube and Instagram, Jon Youshaei spent 8 years on the inside before becoming a full-time creator — now with over 1 million followers across socials.
He’s been featured in Forbes, Time, and TED — and dubbed the “Oprah of YouTube” for his interviews and behind-the-scenes videos with MrBeast, Mark Rober, and Kevin Hart.
Gary Vaynerchuk calls Jon “a creative force who every creator, marketer, and executive can learn from.”
As the creator behind Created in LA, Jon will host the event from the red-carpet kickoff to the closing reception.
Stay tuned for our speaker lineup announcement.

Of course. You don’t have to be on camera talent. We know there’s amazing people who work behind-the-scenes from editors to videographers to thumbnail designers and more. All are welcome to apply.
